Lauren Garrett, LCSW
Lauren is passionate about helping clients find patterns and make meaningful connections
Lauren has been providing therapy since 2018. Before becoming a licensed clinical therapist, she obtained a master’s degree in social work from NYU and NYU Shanghai, and received training at The New School University in New York City.
Following graduate school, Lauren spent a year and a half learning from neuropsychologists about Neurofeedback therapy. She has provided therapy in university, residential, private practice and medical settings.
At the core of her therapeutic approach is psychodynamic therapy, which recognizes the profound impact our past experiences have on our present thoughts and behaviors. She will help you delve into your thoughts and feelings, to uncover the patterns and themes that shape your life.
By bringing awareness to these patterns, you can gain insight into your relationships, motivations, and sense of self, empowering you to make conscious choices and cultivate a more fulfilling life.
Lauren is based in Northwest Arkansas, but is a previous resident of the coasts and abroad, she is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and values working with a diverse clientele.
